Safety Advisor - Roadworks

• DIDO on Regional Road Upgrade Projects. 
• Permanent position with award-winning mid-tier civil contractor
• $110k - $130k + Super + Vehicle, Fuel Card + Uplift

About the Company
As a well-established civil contractor with a broad range of clients within the public and private sector, they have evolved into a major force in the metro civil construction sector. With strong relationships with various clients, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Safety Advisor to work across regional road upgrade projects on a DIDO/ FIFO basis. On occasions, you may be asked to work on metro projects.

About the Opportunity
With multiple contracts recently awarded, you will be reporting into the Project Manager, with your primary responsibility being to provide HSEQ advice and support to project teams ensuring compliance, risk awareness, training, incident investigations and continuous improvement.   

About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Minimum Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety;
• 5-7 years experience working in a similar role;
• MUST have experience working on roadwork projects and demonstrate knowledge of the plant and equipment typically used.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook;
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Current Drivers Licence and willing to operate on 10/4, 5/2 or 2/1 rosters subject to project requirements.
• Note: You MUST have Australian working rights and be Perth-based, if not willing to relocate to Perth immediately upon accepting an offer.
